Unframed Fire-Retardant noticeboard. This coloured noticeboard is a fire resistant and sound dampening qualities, durable and effective for display purposes and information notifications.

Building Fire Regulations State: All notice boards mounted in corridors and on fire escape routes of all buildings MUST comply with British Standards BS EN 13501 Class B.

This Blaze master noticeboard is Fire Safety Certified to BS EN 13501 Class B

This Eco Sound noticeboard is sound absorbent to BS EN SO 11654 1997 Class E

• In addition to having a superior fire-retardant certification, the Eco-Sound Blaze master range has an certified acoustic sound absorption standard for use in buildings of BS EN ISO 11654:1997 – Class E. 

When an educational establishment orders noticeboards for these fire sensitive areas then they should be insisting on a copy of the products certification to prove that the boards supplied are to the required standards.  If the board products do not have a valid certification then they should not be supplied to schools, universities and blocks of flats.

The following Fire Safety Compliance must be followed in all schools and common areas in flats.

Fire Safety Compliance:
Circulation spaces and corridors in non-residential buildings and common areas of blocks of flats – Minimum Certification Required EN 13501-1 2007 Class B-s3, d2

This means that all areas within the fire escape routes, corridors, common areas in all schools, universities and residential block of flats must be fire safety compliant.

This product is ideal for Corridor as you can butt them together to form a full run of boards.
