Description
The cushion can be inflated manually, featuring a smooth surface on one side and a “bumpy” tactile surface on the other.
Its wedge shape aids in balance, promotes proper sitting, and encourages correct posture. It is especially useful for individuals with poor body awareness and low muscle tone.
In Irish primary schools, this standard-sized cushion fits most chairs from Third Class through to Secondary School. For Second Class, it’s recommended to measure the chair first to ensure the junior size will fit. For Junior Infants to First Class, the Junior size cushion is advised. However, due to variations in chair sizes from school to school, it is best to measure the chair first in all cases. The cushion should be able to sit flat on the chair.
